Ukrainian naval drone hits Russian Samum missile warship in Black Sea
Ukrainian media reported that a Ukrainian SeaBaby USV hit a Samum-class missile carrier hovercraft near the entry to Sevastopol Bay on Thursday, 14 September. A photo that shows the towing of the Russian Samum-class missile carrier hovercraft, hit by Ukraine’s Security Service’s SeaBaby uncrewed surface vessel (USV) in the Black Sea, has been published on the Internet on September 16.
Russians move three landing ships from Black Sea to Sea of Azov – Ukrainian Navy spokesman
Following successful Ukrainian attacks on a large landing ship and a submarine in occupied Sevastopol, the Russians have moved three large landing ships from the Black Sea to the Sea of Azov, Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesman for the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said.
First two civilian vessels use alternative grain route to enter Ukrainian port
The first civilian vessels have used a temporary grain corridor to enter the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk. This was reported by Oleksandr Kubrakov, Minister of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine. The bulk carriers Resilient Africa and Aroyat are to load almost 20,000 tonnes of wheat in Ukraine for African countries and Palau.
Poland bans entry for cars with Russian registration
Starting September 17, cars registered in Russia will not be able to enter the European Union through Poland. This was announced by the Minister of the Interior, Mariusz Kamiński. The ban will take effect at midnight. "No Russian car will enter Poland. This applies to both commercial vehicles and private cars, regardless of whether the owner of the car is a citizen of Russia or another country," Kamiński said.
Court sets new bail for oligarch Kolomoisky at $103 million
In response to a request from the prosecution, Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv has increased Ihor Kolomoisky’s bail to UAH 3.8 billion ($103 million), Ukrainian legal news outlet Graty reported on September 15.
