Russia will want revenge after losing the war, this may happen in 10 years – Ukraine's Defense Intelligence Chief

"Russia will need about 10 years to recover in terms of military capabilities. Exactly 10 years is a normal period for rethinking all this. And to start preparing for revenge again. We will definitely have 10 years, and if we manage to influence the territories that will be created in other ways after the victory of Ukraine, let's say, maybe we will have much more, but we will have at least 10 years," Kyrylo Budanov said.


All schools in Kyiv were “mined” on September 1

On Knowledge Day, September 1, all 420 schools in Kyiv started the school year, the vast majority of them in a full-time format. However, the Kyiv police received a report of an alleged bomb threat to all secondary schools. A total of 12,975 schools have started operating in Ukraine in various formats: in-person, remote, and mixed, said Education Minister Oksen Lisovyi.


Ukraine returns 11 children from temporarily occupied territories

Ukraine has returned 11 children who were illegally held by Russians in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region. Among them are six children left without parental care. The youngest child is two years old, and the oldest is 16.


Airfield in Pskov attacked from Russian territory

Kyrylo Budanov, Head of Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, has said that the drone attack on the Russian Il-76 military transport aircraft in Pskov on the night of 29-30 August was carried out from Russian territory. At the same time, he did not specify whether the attack was carried out by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine or by the underground resistance movement.
