Zelenskyy on counteroffensive: We have not achieved desired results, but we are not retreating

“Look, we are not backing down, I am satisfied. We are fighting with the second (best) army in the world, I am satisfied. We are losing people, I’m not satisfied. We didn’t get all the weapons we wanted, I can’t be satisfied, but I also can’t complain too much,” Zelenskyy said. “There is not enough power to achieve the desired results faster. But this does not mean that we should give up, that we have to surrender. We are confident in our actions. We fight for what is ours,” he summarized.


Ukraine and Poland agree on conditions for unblocking border for truck traffic

The measures agreed upon by the parties include  opening of the Uhryniv – Dolhobychuv checkpoint for empty trucks to increase the border capacity and reduce the load on other checkpoints, as well as creation of separate lanes for empty vehicles in E-Queue, the online service for booking a place to cross the border by truck at the Yahodyn – Dorohusk and Korczowa – Krakowiec checkpoints.


The war has made holding Presidential elections in Ukraine impossible – Zelenskyy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has indicated his willingness to hold presidential elections in Ukraine, adding that most Ukrainians consider voting during a full-scale war “dangerous and meaningless”. “The war has also made it impossible to hold a presidential election in Ukraine, originally slated for March under the constitution,” he said.


Another fuel train explodes on Baikal-Amur Mainline in Russia

The first freight train exploded directly in the Severomuysky Tunnel on November 30. To continue the movement, the Russians began to use the bypass route passing through the ‘Devil's Bridge’ (Baikal-Amur Mainline). Today several media outlets, including Russians, peppered that when the train was passing along this high 35-meter bridge, they activated explosive devices that were planted in it.
